CTET Aug 2023: 29L Candidates Registered, 80% Appear

CTET August 2023: On August 20, CBSE administered the 17th iteration of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). 29,03,903 people signed up for the exam, of which 15,01,719 people signed up for paper 1 and 14,02,184 people signed up for paper 2. In 136 locations across the nation, 3121 test centers hosted the CTET.

About 80% of applicants showed up for the test.

The CTET test consists of two question papers. Teachers' eligibility for classes 1 through 5 is ensured by Question Paper 1, and for classes 6 through 8 by Question Paper 2. Candidates who meet the requirements can participate in one or both papers and select any two languages from the list of the 20 required languages.

 

CBSE CTET 2023 MARKSHEET VIA DIGILOCKER

As in previous years, the board has made plans to give digital marksheets and eligibility certificates to CTET candidates through DigiLocker, which is also a resolution of the board toward the "Green initiative."
"DigiLocker accounts will be generated for each applicant who appears, and the credentials will be sent to the candidates' registered mobile phones with CBSE. Using the communicated credentials, candidates can download their digital grade report and eligibility certificate, according to the official notification.
