If recent leaks are to be believed, the Moto G54 5G launch could be imminent. Although Motorola has not yet provided a precise launch date for the new G-series phone, the device has already been seen in a database maintained by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Additionally, it has purportedly been discovered on the websites of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), giving away the fact that it would soon be available in India and other markets. Additionally, online leaks of purported renders of the smartphone have occurred. The Moto G53 successor with a hole-punch display can be seen in the leaked photographs in three different colors. The renderings also imply that the device has two back cameras.

The Moto G54 5G is identified by the model number XT-2343-1 in the FCC database. According to the listing, it would be a dual-SIM smartphone with Wi-Fi 802.11 /b/g/n/ac, NFC, and Bluetooth capabilities.

On X (formerly Twitter), tipper Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) provided screenshots of suspected TDRA and BIS listings for the Moto G54 5G. According to the post, the phone with the model number XT-2343-2 has received TDRA approval. The claimed BIS listing similarly uses the model number XT-2343-5.

Also on X, tipper Evan Blass (@evleaks) published allegedly accurate renders of the Moto G54 5G. The phone has relatively thick bezels on the edges and a hole-punch cutout in the center of the display for the selfie camera. It appears to have a twin rear camera arrangement with an LED flash on the back. At the upper left corner of the back panel, the camera sensors are positioned in a rectangular island. The phone is displayed with the color options of blue, green, and black.
