Jansen Panettiere, Hayden Panettieres Brother, Dies At 28

Jansen is most remembered for his appearance in the Nickelodeon film "The Last Day of Summer." Hayden Panettiere's representative confirmed that actor Jansen Panettiere, Hayden Panettiere's brother, died. He was 28. According to his sister's attorney, the reason of death is unknown, and an inquiry is underway.

Panettiere is most known for her voice work in "Ice Age: The Meltdown" and "The X-Men," as well as her onscreen performances in "The Last Day of Summer" for Nickelodeon and "The Walking Dead" for AMC.

He was born in 1994 to Lesley R. Vogel, an actress, and firefighter Alan Lee "Skip" Panettiere. Following in the footsteps of his older sister, he attempted acting and landed his first television role in the hit Disney Channel show "Even Stevens."

Panettiere later participated in various TV episodes, including the 2004 Disney Channel film "Tiger Cruise," in which he co-starred with his sister.

His first voice part came in season six of "Blue's Clues," when he played the character Periwinkle.

Following that, he voiced a youthful Stripes in the 2005 animated picture "Racing Stripes" and Shovelmouth Boy in the 2006 film "Ice Age: The Meltdown." On the Nickelodeon television series "The X's," he also played Truman X.

Panettiere played as Luke Malloy, an entering middle school student who dreads the start of the school year and hopes the last day of summer would repeat itself, in the Nickelodeon television film "The Last Day of Summer" in 2007.

His most recent television appearance was in season 9, episode 15 of "The Walking Dead," in which he played Casper, a member of the Hilltop Colony.

In the aftermath of his death, his sister has requested privacy.
