2022 From December 28 to February 7, 2023, several cities will participate in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which will be administered online by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). "CBSE CTET will be held in computer-based manner (online) between December 28, 2022, and February 7, 2023, at various places across the country," the CBSE tweeted. Candidates should visit the CTET's official website, ctet.nic.in, for further information.

Two papers, each with 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), make up the Central Teachers' Eligibility Test (CTET) test. Paper 2 is for individuals who plan to teach students in grades 1 through 5, whereas Paper 1 is for those who don't,

Is for people interested in teaching grades 6 through 8. Paper 1 consists of five subjects—child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2, mathematics, and environmental studies—each with 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

For the second paper, there are 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in each of the following categories: social studies or social science, language 1, language 2, mathematics and science (for those who desire to teach mathematics and science), child development and pedagogy (for those who want to teach social studies or social science).

Those who desire to teach subjects other than math, physics, or social science can pick either social studies or math and science.

Languages including English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, and Assamese are available for applicants to pick from for language exams.

Urdu, Nepali, Tibetan, Mizo, Garo, Khasi, Mizo, and Manipuri.

Application procedures and costs for CBSE CTET 2022:

Eligible applicants must go to the official CTET website to register for the CTET 2022 exam. Candidates have three payment options for their application fees: debit, credit, and net banking. The city of their choice for the examination will be available to candidates who completed the application process and paid the fees on a first come, first serve basis.

Candidates from the general and OBC categories must pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 for either paper 1 or paper 2, or Rs 1,200 for both. Candidates from the SC, ST, and differently abled categories must submit an application and pay a Rs. 500 application fee for each paper they submit.

Once the examination cost has been paid, the CTET 2022 application form cannot be changed. Therefore, it is essential that candidates properly fill out all of their information.

Applying for the CBSE CTET in 2022: Steps:

  1.  Go to the CTET website's official page.
  2. Click "Apply Online" in Step 
  3. Subsequently, complete the CTET application and record your registration or application number.
  4.  Add your most recent scanned photo and signature.
  5. Use a debit card, credit card, or online banking to pay the examination fee.
  6. Download and print the page for later use.
