The Renault Kwid is available in four different trim levels: RXL, RXL (O), RXT, and Climber. The 0.8-litre engine is available in all models except the top-spec Climber. The larger 1.0-litre engine is available with the RXL, RXT, and Climber models, as well as the optional AMT transmission.

Renault provides two petrol engine options for the Kwid: a 54 PS/72 Nm 0.8-litre unit and a 68 PS/91 Nm 1.0-litre unit, both with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The 1.0-liter engine is also available with a 5-speed AMT.
