Stock market holiday: Today, March 7, 2023, will not see any trade because the Holi festival is being celebrated across the country. The BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange) will be closed for all trading on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, according to the list of stock market holidays 2023 posted on the official BSE website, bseindia.com. The celebration of the Ram Navami festival will take place on March 30, 2023, which will be the next stock market holiday following Holi 2023. According to the schedule of stock market holidays for March 2023, the 30th of March 2023 for Ram Navami and the 7th of March 2023 for Holi festivities. There will be no trading in the equities, equity derivative, or small-cap categories today, according the list of stock market holidays for 2023 that can be seen on the BSE's official website. The list of stock market holidays for March 2023 further specifies that trading in the interest rate derivatives and currency derivatives segments would remain stopped today, March 7, 2023, in observance of Holi 2023. Trading will be closed in the morning session, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but open in the evening session, in the Commodities Derivatives Segment and the Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) Segment. As a result, trading in the electronic gold receipts (EGR) section and the commodities derivatives segment will begin today at 5:00 p.m. instead of 9:00 a.m.
