APSRTC Receives National Award for Digital Transformation

The APSRTC bagged the exceptional Governance Now – 6th Digital Transformation Summit award. The Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy announced the success as a rich jewel of the State.

Minister Alludes to APSRTC Workers and Officials

The Minister was full of praise for the officials, the supervisors, and the workers of the APSRTC for their unceasing service to the travelers. He mentioned that the digital systems that provide advance travel information have brought about a quality change in the service rendered to the passengers.

Digital Technology Adoption Getting Recognition

He mentioned that the digital technology used by APSRTC in public transport has been recognized at the national level. He especially appreciated the starting of the Automatic Announcement System (AAS) at the main bus stations. The passengers are assisted in getting timely and very clear travel updates through the system.

The Place of APSRTC Management in the Award

The Minister congratulated APSRTC MD Dwaraka Tirumala Rao for his crucial role in obtaining the award. He remarked that APSRTC is embracing technology as per the vision laid down by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He also mentioned that in the days to come, there will be more modern conveniences and passenger-friendly services.

Awarding of the Detail

For the 2025 award, APSRTC was chosen for having successfully set up the Automatic Announcement System at all important bus stations and also for having implemented it. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, the Managing Director, got the award at the ceremony held in Delhi.
